17M Superyacht Turns Heads In Cork
A luxury 17m superyacht is turning heads at Cork's city centre quayside. The Seawolf is the latest in a series of luxury yachts to visit Cork in recent years.
The vessel arrived in Cork's North Custom House Quay yesterday coming overnight from Glengariff in West Cork.
The vessel has an interesting past. It was built in 1957 and was once the hardest working ocean going tugboat in the world. In 1968 it simultaneously towed two United States NAvy aircraft carriers from Boston to Japan. In 2002 the Seawolf was completely rebuilt as a superyacht. It has three full decks, a swimming pool, sundeck, six cabins for 13 guests, a 23-foot tender, 19 foot sailboat, two waverunners, kayaks, other toys and full wifi.
It carries a crew of 14 including a qualified diving instructor.
