Plenty of Carbery and Beara interest as Cork development squads in action
The U14 Cork footballers played in the Jim Power Football Tournament held in Waterford. There were a host of talented players from across the Carbery and Beara region in action for all the Cork development football teams.
In the U14 football tournament, Cork West beat Kerry South in their opening game by 3-9 to 1-5 before they secured a good win against Waterford on a score of 1-13 to 2-1.
The Cork West footballers were ultimately defeated by a Kerry North team at the semi-final stages. Cork East footballers won the tournament.
