Rural affairs deserves full ministry
Dunmanway based independent county councillor Declan Hurley has welcomed the appointment of Ann Phelan TD as Minister of State at the Departments of Agriculture, Food and Marine and Transport, Tourism and Sport with Special Responsibility for Rural Economic Development.
According to Cllr Hurley, the new post will be based at the Department of Agriculture and includes the implementation of the CEDRA report and rural transport.
