Fuchsia at Cork Midsummer Festival of the Senses

As part of the Cork Midsummer Festival of the Senses, there will be a celebration of taste with an open air street market of local food at Grand Parade on Sunday, June 20th.

West Cork producers will be out in force under the Fuchsia banner to showcase the fine flavours that have won the region so much praise. Cork Midsummer Festival of the Senses is an annual 16 day summer celebration of contemporary arts & culture, combining local, national and international events to deliver unique experiences that appeal to everyone.

You can expect unusual things in unusual places with theatre, off-site performances, contemporary and popular music, participatory projects, mass free events, dance, debate, ideas, visual and conceptual art and food. Aiming to push the boundaries of each art form, Cork Midsummer Festival is a 'real' festival of the senses.
