Furniture in Bantry

Thomas Kay has a sculptor’s approach to design and create furniture: ‘curves & loops’ is a series of chairs, each carved by hand from the trunk of a large tree.

Knots, cracks and the seamless grain lend these functional sculptures their unique characteristics, while subtle colouring or goldleaf give each piece its distinctive zest. 

His award-winning work is exhibited widely.
