Belling Awards for West Cork Artisan Food
This November, the inaugural Belling West Cork Artisan Food Awards will celebrate all that is great about artisan food produced in West Cork. Acknowledging the unique place held by West Cork in the landscape of Irish food production the Belling Awards will award €5000 to the winner of two categories - The Originals and Best Newcomer.
A judging panel of Darina Allen, Ballymaloe Cookery School; Sean and Rose O’Driscoll, Belling Ireland; Ella McSweeney, RTE; John McKenna, Bridgestone Guides; John Field, Fields’ SuperValu, Skibbereen, and Carmel Somers, Good Things Cafe will draw up a shortlist to be announced this October and announce the winners of both categories at an awards ceremony in November.
