Heron Gallery is situated in Ahakista on the beautiful Sheep's Head Peninsula. The craft shop and gallery showcase the work of artist Annabel Langrish - raku ceramics, Irish wildlife and flower prints on handmade paper, original oils and watercolours, driftwood fish, boats and furniture and handmade cards. 

Featured also are local artists, jewellery, ceramics and sculpture. In the summer there is an invited artist exhibiting in the gallery every two weeks. 

Summer visitors can walk around the productive organic vegetable, herb and ornamental gardens where much of the produce used in the café is grown. The café serves organic, fair-trade coffee and teas, simple wholesome lunches and delicious cakes and scones.
