Brown Bread Ice Cream?
After seeing this photo of desserts posted by the Castle Hotel Macroom Facebook page, I not only felt my sweet tooth began to call to me, I also felt my curiosity rising as I was once again faced with the idea of Brown Bread Ice Cream. I have never tasted this dish and if, like me, you're curious as to what it would taste like I have found a recipe (which I have not yet tried out and therefore can not vouch for, but feel free to warn me if it is shocking). This is definitely on my 'To Try' list now.
Brown Bread Ice Cream
Ingredients
Mix Brown Bread Crumbs: 125g
Dark Muscovado Sugar: 75g
Milk: 150ml
Egg Yolk: 2 Each
Cream Lightly Whipped: 250ml
Light Rum: 30ml
Tuille Basket: 4
Garnish: Berries

Mix breadcrumbs and sugar, place on tray at 228
