Joy as RNLI
A sixteen year campaign for an inshore lifeboat at Union Hall, Co Cork has come to fruition with the arrival of the Atlantic 75 inshore lifeboat.
Village children lined the pier waving flags to herald the arrival of the D class lifeboat, which will become officially operational next month for a two year trial.
"It's a great day, one we thought we might never see to be honest.
