Major visitor centre plans for Clonakilty
Clonakilty is to get a major new development on the Western Road, following the granting of planning permission to the owners of Clonakilty Black Pudding.
A new four-storey visitor centre is part of the plans, which also include provision for a new processing plant, offices and staff facilities.
The decision means that the production of the famous black pudding will now return to the West Cork town, from its current production facility in Little Island.
