Skibbereen Celebrates Mad Pride
An event designed to break down the stigma surrounding mental health issues will take place next week as part of West Cork's popular Skibbereen Arts Festival. Mad Pride Ireland will hold a free Family Fun Day in Skibbereen town park on Sunday July 27th from 1pm to 5pm. The event, featuring musical acts such as The Independent Scouts, The Other Side and The Roaring Forties, along with street performers, clowns and food stalls, will be the second held in the West Cork town and the first as part of the Skibbereen Arts Festival.
