Unique fundraising event will see rescuers build their own island cablecar
Kerry Mountain Rescue Team in conjunction with Castletownbere Coast Guard, Castletownbere RNLI and Lehanmore Centre will attempt subject to the weather, to recreate the first ever cable car from Beara peninsula mainland to one of the islands on Saturday 6th September. This will provide an opportunity for a joint training exercise between the Kerry mountain rescue team and Castletownbere coast guard.
