Coolmore Gardens

Vegetables in Owenabue

Coolmore Gardens is a vegetable farm of 80 acres owned by Rowland and Maggie Newenham.

It is located on fertile limestone soil overlooking the picturesque Owenabue River, near the town of Carrigaline.

It has been a vegetable farm for over 60 years, and was founded by Rowland's father, John Newenham.

The crops grown are rhubarb, leeks, purple sprouting broccoli and brussels sprouts, and can be found in most SuperValu and Centra stores throughout Munster. There is a strong emphasis on freshness and harvest to shelf is normally less than 24 hours.

We encourage you to visit our farm in Carrigaline and see for yourself where your vegetables are grown!
