West Cork Literary Festival 6th July - 12th July

As a book-lover, I can safely assert that for all of us readers, writers and lovers of good books The West Cork Literary Festival is one of the main highlights of the many festivals held in West Cork. Held in Bantry for the past 16 years, the town hosts, over the course of a week, many literature-based events for the discerning readers, the hopeful writers and even the young book fanatics who are just starting out on the most exciting life-long journey into the world of adventures and stories.

You will find talks from well-known writers of books you already love, and new writers that will give you the chance to find something fresh to add to your bookshelves back home. And whatever your preferred genre, there will be at least one event to catch your attention - prose, poetry, memoir, fact and fiction.  

Stop in for coffee and a chat with your favourite author or settle down to hear the experts talk about the worlds of publishing or ghost writing.
