Yoko Ono receives bogwood sculpture by Kieran Higgins

Yoko Ono recently accepted a Lifetime Achievement Award for her art from Dublin Biennial.

The award was a traditional Irish bogwood sculpture by Kieran Higgins.

It was officially presented to Yoko Ono by the Lord Mayor of Dublin Andrew Montague.

A special ceremony was held in the Mansion House.

Speaking about the honour Ms. Ono said her husband – the late John Lennon – would have been proud because he loved Dublin.
