Trish Goodbody creates her glass jewellery in her studio in West Cork among some of the most beautiful and rugged scenery of the Atlantic coast of Ireland - and it's this, as well as the ever-changing light of the area, that inspires her work.

Fusing in a kiln at high temperatures is one of the most ancient techniques used for shaping glass and this is the technique that Trish uses with both coloured and dichroic glass.  Dichroic glass transmits and reflects different light wavelengths; this results in stunning visual effects as colours change with the angle of view.
