Gidi Gur's jewellery designs show a strong mixture of both Middle Eastern and Celtic influences and combine to create a sophisticated range of jewellery, versatile enough to wear on any occasion. Pieces are individually handcrafted from Sterling silver 92.5 and 14K gold and can be made to suit the client's requirements.
Working from his studio in Skibbereen, Kieran Higgins passionately creates unique, character driven pieces, fashioned exclusively from Irish native hardwood and ancient bog timbers. Taking delight in the 'imperfections of nature' tales of trial and endurance, of decay and damage written in the timber, are eagerly emphasized, giving each piece a sense of attachment to the tree it was hewed from.
Kinsale Pottery and Arts Centre specialises in pottery, glass fusing, stained glass, jewellery-making, mosaic-making and other crafts. We run weekly morning and evening classes, weekend breaks, summer schools and tailor-made workshops for corporate groups and private parties.
